Product Description

Constantan is a resistance alloy with copper and nickel as its main component. Features: Low temperature coefficient of resistance, wide operating temperature range (below 480°C), good processing performance, and good welding performance. Mainly used for making electronic components in instrumentation, electronics and industrial equipment. In addition, there is a new constantan resistance alloy, which is a copper-iron-based alloy. It has the same resistivity as constantan, a basically similar temperature coefficient of resistance, and the same operating temperature. Constantan is mainly used to make variable resistors and strain resistor components in AC instruments. It is suitable for use in AC circuits as precision resistors, sliding resistors, resistance strain gauges, etc. It can also be used as thermocouples and thermocouple compensation wire materials. The resistance-temperature linear relationship of constantan alloy is better than that of manganese copper, and it is widely used to make wire-wound resistance components of various instruments and household appliances.
