HSS Step Drill Bit

Step Drill Bits are perfect for drilling multiple-size holes in thin sections of metal, plastic and wood using a single bit. Each step drills does the work of many drill-bit sizes. Drills round holes in most metals (steel, brass, aluminum, copper) up to 1/8" (3.2mm) thick as well as in plastic and wood. No center punching or pilot hole drilling is required on most sizes. The bits are easy to keep sharp, and the hole size is easily determined by the diameter markings that are permanently laser-etched in the flute areas.

1. Drills true round holes in stainless steel, mild steel, brass, copper, aluminum, plastic and woods up to 1/8" thick.2.
Stainless steel and aluminum should be drilled at speeds no faster than 300 rpm. Cutting oil must be used to preserve the life of
the cutting tool when exceeding diameters of 1/2" and up
