High Manganese Steel Ball Mill Liner Plates: High manganese steel ball mill liner plate in general refers to a kind
of casting steel with the Mn content at 11-14%, the carbon content at 0.9-1.5%, mostly higher than 1.0%. Under low
impact load, can achieve HB300-400, high impact load, can achieve HB500-800 Different impact load, the surface
hardening layer depth can be up to 10-20 mm. Hardened layer with high hardness can resist impact and reduces
abrasive wear. Under the condition of strong impact abrasive wear, high manganese steel has excellent wearresistant
performance, so it is widely used in Mining, Building Materials, Coal industries as wear-resistant parts. But, under
the condition of low impact load, the characteristics of high manganese steel can't display due to the strain hardening
effect is not obvious.
