Product Description

Applications:

Ni50 is a medium to high hardness nickel-chromium-borosilicate alloy powder. Self-fluxing, wettability and spray welding are all good. The spray welding layer has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, wear resistance, heat resistance, impact resistance and good toughness. It can be cut with cemented carbide tools, but small grinding is preferred. Suitable for oxygen-acetylene flame or plasma spray welding process, mainly used for pre-protection of gas valve sealing surface, steam valve, pump rotor, etc.


Powder melting temperature: 980 - 1060 ºC

Hardness of spray welding layer: HRC47-53

Note: 1. Please strictly follow the requirements of oxygen-acetylene flame or plasma spray welding process.

 2. When using small and medium-sized spray guns, -150 mesh powder should be used, and when using large spray guns, -150/+300 mesh powder should be used.

 3. If the alloy powder has moisture absorption, it should be dried before use (120 ºC, heat preservation for 1 hour).
